Burton-on-Trent Golf Club is owned by the members and governed by members who their peers elect to form the Board of Directors.
The Directors limit the number of members so that those who wish to take part in organised competitions can do so.
This limit may result in the introduction of a waiting list in the future, and those who join the waiting list will be offered membership in strict order whenever a vacancy arises.
The subscription fee is agreed upon by members at an Annual General Meeting each year.
New members will be eligible to vote at any General Meeting after joining. Members who have been standing for three years will be eligible to be elected as a Director.
