Burton On Trent Golf Club

Bar and Lounge

South Derbyshire is now a Tier 3 area under the latest COVID-19 restrictions.

The Tier 3 status will have an impact on Burton On Trent Golf Club (BoT GC) and the following changes will come into effect at the same time at BoT GC:

  • Except for the toilets the clubhouse will be closed. Future events are cancelled until further notice, hopefully it will not be too long.

  • There will be no bar or catering services.

  • The tee waiting areas on the first tee will be active.  Members are asked to ensure you maintain 2 metres social distancing at all times.

  • Practice areas, chipping area and putting green will remain open, however, they are only to be used in the 30 minutes prior to you tee time.  If you are not intending to use the practice facilities then please do not arrive at the club until 20 minutes before your booked tee time.

  • The one system around the clubhouse is to be strictly observed.

  • The Pro Shop will remain open.

  • Gentlemen’s and Ladies locker rooms will remain open, but entry is restricted to one member at a time and is still not to be used for changing and showering. You may, at the moment, still use the toilet facilities in the changing rooms.

  • Trolley and buggy sheds will remain open, but entry is restricted to one member at a time.

  • BoT GC will not be accepting members guests, general visitors or 1894 reciprocals at this current time.

  • The clubhouse will close in line with the Pro Shop hours and potentially earlier if the weather is foul and no one is on the golf course.

  • Currently we do not know how long the Tier 3 restrictions will remain in place, therefore, you will be kept up to date on a regular basis via email and the club website.
